The International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) has announced that it is holding its 2008 World Technology Law Conference and Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 24-25, 2008 . The annual conference, taking place at the Bellagio, offers technology and telecommunications lawyers information on developments in technology law, including e-commerce, intellectual property, outsourcing models, data privacy, open source, Internet gaming, and Internet and telecoms communications convergence

In a press release statement, ALM events has announced plans for its second annual East Coast Legal Industry Outsourcing Forum , to take place May 14 and 15 at the Harvard Club in New York City . The two-day conference will focus on identifying the “ right ” markets for Outsourcing; best practices; understanding the mechanics of negotiating outsourcing deals; offshore outsourcing; and trends and Insights in this area. The conference is targeted to general and assistant general counsel; in-house counsel charged with outsourcing; and outside counsel including law firm executives overseeing outsourcing in various industries.
