Fed-Up Flight Attendant Steven Slater Sorts Out Legal Issues Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Former JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater is negotiating a plea bargain that could spare him jail time, his attorney and the Queens district attorney said Tuesday, according to the NY Daily News . Slater, the ” working-class hero ” flight attendant who made a dramatic exit from a plane last month after a confrontation with a passenger, appeared in court in Queens, N.Y., yesterday. Charged with trespassing, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, Slater faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
